David's Story
When David's parents brought him to me in 2003, he had already been having seizures for 2 years. He was diagnosed with absent seizures, also called "petit mal."
During a seizure, David would roll his eyes up in his head, smack his lips, and make chewing motions with his mouth. He would lose awareness of what was happening around him. On average, David was having 20 seizures per day.
What Triggered the Seizures?
Certain things in David's environment made his seizures happen more often. These included chemicals, strong perfumes, and hunger. He also jerked in his sleep.
When David had a seizure, he either saw everything turn black or he could see everything around him.
David's Other Health Issues
When I first met David, I noticed several other things about him:
- He talked a lot
- He was very afraid of dogs
- He was mildly afraid of the dark
- He had dark circles under his eyes
- He was extremely sensitive to things
- He didn't like to share his belongings
- When he was 2 years old, his front teeth had to be pulled out because of severe decay, and they healed very slowly
- In the last 6 months, he had developed warts
- He struggled to focus and pay attention at school
My Treatment Plan
To better understand David's case, I decided to look at his mother's health history too.
After analyzing everything, I gave David the remedy Causticum 1M. Right away, his seizures started to get better.
Over the next few months, David still had seizures, but they were less severe and didn't happen as often.
I took another look at his case and gave him the remedy Calcarea Carbonica 1M. Right away, David started to change. His mother said he was nicer. Then he got sick with a throat and nose infection.
About 3 months after taking this remedy, David stopped having seizures completely.
David Today
Today, David and his parents still come to see me regularly for health problems and his ADD issues. He is still free of seizures and is a happy young adult living a normal life.
