Linda's Story
Linda came to see Francine in January 2012 because of chronic migraine headaches. The migraines started 10 years earlier.
Where the Pain Was
The headache pain was mainly behind Linda's right eyeball. She described it as a dull ache.
She said the pain could feel like a hot poker (knife, sharp) on her eyeball, behind her eyes, and it felt pressed on the root of her nose.
What Made It Worse
Linda could not tolerate noise or light and preferred to be quiet. Mornings were worse for her pain, and she even seemed to wake up with the pain.
Other Symptoms
When she had the headache pain, she was very hungry. She also had hair loss with a bald spot on her scalp.
About Linda
Linda had high anxiety about basic things in life, and she described herself as a very down-to-earth person. Steve was her first husband, and they had no children.
She worried that if her husband died, who would take care of her, because he did a lot for her. She was very easygoing, liked being alone, and was very private.
She had a big phobia of heights and did not like bugs.
Stress, Food, and Weight
Linda and her husband had just moved to Hawaii, and she experienced a huge amount of stress from the move.
She loved bread, butter, cheese, and salty foods. She was not thirsty at all. She had difficulty losing weight and had gained weight in the last 5 years.
More Details About the Headaches
Linda said the headache often started in her neck area and went down into her shoulder area, and it felt very stiff. She tried stretching, but it did not help.
Remedy and Outcome
After an intense analysis of the case, Francine chose the homeopathic remedy Calcarea Carbonica 200C.
The remedy helped right away. Linda took the remedy again about 3 more times, and since then she has been free of migraine headaches and enjoys her life in Hawaii.
